Letter from Wagner to his friend Esser. An angry response to the news that Ander, who had been selected to sing the part of Tristan without Wagner's approval, has been procrastinating learning his part. Nevertheless, Wagner hopes to perform TRISTAN in the near future, without Ander, and requests Esser's aid in assuring that his desires regarding this matter are met.
